Description
COMOL-DX is a dry cough, Cold, and sore throat syrup that contains mainly two APIs: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Phenylephrine hydrochloride, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate Cough Syrup. COMOL-DX Syrup is now available with both Alcohol and codeine free which means there is no chance of any addiction to using this drug.
COMOL-DX is a syrup manufactured in India by Pfizer Limited Company. It can temporarily relieve cough caused by throat irritation, sneezing, and running nose. COMOL-DX Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor.
COMOL-DX syrup works by reducing the activity of the brain’s cough center and blocking the effects of the histamine receptor. The dose you are given will depend on your various physical conditions and how you respond to the medicine, or as per the advice of your physician.
The most common side effects are faintness, drowsiness, and dizziness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. If you are at all concerned about any of these side effects, contact your doctor immediately. If you experience dizziness and sleepiness, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medication affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it may make dizziness worse.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, urinary problems, enlarged prostate, phenylketonuria (a congenital disability that causes accumulation of amino acid, phenylalanine in the body), cough with mucus or cough caused by asthma, smoking, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema (a lung condition causing shortness of breath).
